Explosion of flavors at the Festival du Chocolat

The gastronomic event is a real treat for those with a sweet tooth, especially the Festival du Chocolat. French pastries and savoury options are also on offer.

The main exhibits are in the hotel bar, Alma, where chocolate is offered in the form of cookies, mousses, desserts, brownies and dark and white chocolate bonbons.

Sweet and sour dishes also showcase all the skills of the hotel’s chefs.

While the main attraction is the different versions of the delicacy, there are also savoury options such as vegetable wraps, bruschetta, mushrooms and cheese scones filled with tomato.

The specialized chefs also present hummuss, corn and spinach blinis and leek croquettes. The various stands also display the various typical foods from the bars of the city of Buenos Aires.

Truffles, in all their versions, are the most sought after at the Festival.

To drink, there are varieties of coffee, tea and hot chocolate. There is also a menu with cold drinks.

The experience offered by the Sofitel is available every Saturday in winter from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. and has a value of $42,000 for adults and $38,000 for children under 12 years of age. Reservations can be made through the hotel bar’s official website.
