Merida, Yuc. A few days after the sixth anniversary of his electoral victory in 2018, President Andrés Manuel López Obrador asserted that the country is doing well, “quite well.” And if this is the direction that his government and the country are taking, it is because he has received popular support throughout his administration because “only the people can save the people.”

Upon leaving the hotel where he stayed to go to the military base where they will evaluate the progress in the construction of sections 5, 6 and 7 with the military engineers and the virtual president-elect, Claudia Sheinbaum, the president noted that on Monday (first July, the anniversary of his victory) will speak in his conference about the meaning it had for his movement.

Smiling, he again praised Sheinbaum, who was accompanying him in his truck. “We have been talking as friends, colleagues, and that she is the best president for the future of the country.”

-When will Dos Bocas be refined? Will it be two years since its inauguration?

-It’s already refined, he cut.

In response to a specific question, he said that later he will visit the Olmeca refinery with Sheinbaum, pointing out that at the end of his term there will be no pending issues on this project.
