Santiago Wanderers pulled off a great upset in the Chilean Cup. The Caturro team tied 2-2 in stoppage time a match that they were losing 2-0 in regulation time. Goals from Carlos Muñoz and Juan Ignacio Duna allowed them to close out a heart-stopping finale.
In the semi-final of the North Central Zone, the team of coach Jaime García will face the winner of the match between Palestino and Barnechea, in which the latter team took the lead by 3-2.
The urgency of the result forced the Cruzados to take the initiative, right from the start. After 30 seconds, Fernando Zampedri had already raised the alarm with a powerful shot that had to be taken out in an emergency by goalkeeper Eduardo Miranda.
