Planet Cómics and Corferias, those responsible for organizing Comic Con Colombia 2024, announced that one of the celebrities most anticipated by attendees, actor Tom Welling, would not participate in the event. The reason given by the organization was the loss of his passport, a fact that prevented the protagonist of the series Smallville take your flight to Colombia.
To the annoyance of the attendees, the organizers published a clip on their official accounts in which Welling himself appears speaking out and apologizing to the fans who were waiting for him in Bogotá.

“Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend Comic Con Colombia this weekend, due to a series of unfortunate events that happened. We couldn’t make it work, but we are already working to get back there to return as soon as possible and see all of you, wonderful people,” said the interpreter of Clark Kent in the television series.
Welling took advantage of the moment to release Comic Con Colombia from responsibility for what happened. “Please forgive me, forgive the organization, we did everything we could., and I appreciate all the effort you put into attending the event and I hope to make it up to you all.
