The Addams Family adaptation begins filming for season 2
While we were practicing the iconic finger snap of the ‘Addams Family’ tune, we have great news and that is that Netflix has finally started the long-delayed production of season 2 of ‘Wednesday’. And with the announcement of the filming, one of the biggest secrets has been revealed: the complete cast of the new episodes.
He has done it through a short video in which we have seen Thing handing out scripts at the doors of the different stars that will populate the universe and the hallways of the Never Again Academy. If we already knew the presence of Steve Buscemi like Barry Dort and Thandiwe Newton like Dr. Fairburn, be careful because a dozen more actors are joining the dark fantasy series.

Specifically, together with those named we will have Billie Piper like Capri, Evie Templeton, Owen Painter, Noah Taylor, Christopher Lloyd, Joanna Lumley like grandma, Frances O’Connor, Haley Joel Osment, Heather Matarazzo and Joonas Suotamowill. The smartest of you will have noticed a couple of things. On the one hand, we have seen Christopher Lloyd, who played Stinky Addams in the 90s movies. On the other hand, the absences of Percy Hynes White and Naomi J Ogawawho played Xavier Thorpe and Yoko Tanaka, respectively.
For the rest, it is not yet known what will await us in these new episodes of season 2 of ‘Wednesday’ beyond having more mysteries to solve. The first episode will be titled ‘The Return to Sadness’ and will be written by Alfred Gough and Miles Millarwith the address of Tim Burton. Paco Cabezas and Angela Robinson will also share directing duties.
