In the same vein, Suar reaffirmed: “It is very good. Gri breaks it. She is a tremendous comedian as she is. Jorgelina (Aruzzi), Breastplate (Menahem)… The truth is that, I who have the privilege of being able to choose, I always try to get on stage with people that I admire, that I love.”

To its turn, Benjamin Vicuna -who is also part of the cast-, reflected: “One of the crises that the play is going through is that we are all trapped in lies and in that dizzying and, sometimes absurd, race to achieve happiness at all costs.”
Agreeing with his partner, Suar completed: “It has to do with denial and not facing problems. So, the photocopy of the argument is that between so much lying and hiding to be happy and hold on to the bonds that we all have, freeing yourself from mandates gives you a new opportunity”.
What is “Congratulations” about?
Julián (Adrián Suar) and Felicitas (Griselda Siciliani) are a couple of successful lawyers. On her birthday, he is in charge of organizing the party, but repeats the same catastrophic mistakes he makes year after year. Unexpectedly, the possibility of separation arises between them.
Perhaps it doesn’t help much that an old high school friend of Felicitas, played by Jorgelina Aruzzi, and her eccentric boyfriend (Benjamín Vicuña) show up uninvited, nor that, by mistake, Julián has hired a medium (Peto Menahem) to entertain the party, nor that the house where they live suddenly seems to have a life of its own.

Throughout a frenetic night they will have to get rid of lies, family legacies and decide if they want to stay together or not. Are we all trapped in the lives we have created? Is it possible to be happy before it’s too late?
