Ernesto Cirilo Ayalathe charismatic participant of the new edition of Matter of weight (The Thirteen) who they call “El gaucho” decompensated last Thursday and for that reason he was absent from the program on Friday, generating concern among the cycle’s followers.
When asked by Mario Massaccesi about the reason for the participant’s absence, it was the medical team that explained the dramatic situation that Ernesto faced in the last few hours and for which he had to be hospitalized.
“Ernesto is not there. The gaucho is not there. What happened to the gaucho?”was the driver’s question to the doctors.
“Yesterday, after the program ended, sometimes the kids went to live streaming to share experiences, to watch a little, to debate what happened in the program. And, at one point, we were here and there was an emergency,” Sergio Verón, one of the health professionals who work on the reality show, began by telling the story.
And he added, to provide more details about it: “He started to feel bad, he fell, he lost his gaze. So we had to call SAME. Thanks to the SAME who showed up. The whole team was there. And he had a hypertensive peak. He is hypertensive, he is diagnosed, he is medicated with it. And there was a problem there. A lack of attention, he did not take the medication at the time he had to take it.”
“Oh, I hadn’t taken the medication. I mean, so that we can take notes, right? “What are the consequences when we don’t do what we strictly have to do, right?” Massaccesi warned.

“What happens is that high blood pressure is a silent disease. And the medications are day by day and the dose cannot be missed because we do not realize it. When we say ‘follow the rules’. “They are rules that have different issues,” the sportsologist responded.

Ernesto, the Gaucho of Cuestión de Peso, opened up on the program hosted by Mario Massaccesi and revealed that his problems with being overweight began nine years ago: “I was not fat as a child. In fact, I told my classmates and the streaming that I bullied the boys at school.”
“Since then I started to gain between 12, 15, or 10 kilos per year. I don’t want to be like this anymore. Help me, please,” said the participant, through tears.
When he saw photos of himself from when he was younger and had many kilos less, the young man broke down: “I didn’t look like that. I thought he was fine, but no… I don’t know what to tell you, little black guy. “I want to escape, go for a run when I see that,”

Then, Massaccesi reflected, giving some words of encouragement to the participant: “Escaping is never good, but you are already getting out of there. And I want to tell you something else, and this has to do with effort. Look, from not looking in the mirror, to being on a television show where everyone is watching you. Look at the giant step they have taken, sometimes without leaving the spot.”
