There is less left to return to Westeros with the second season of The dragon house, which arrives at Max next June 17. The prequel to Game of Thrones focused on the civil war within House Targaryen was released two years ago and soon won over critics and the public, becoming considered by many to be better than its predecessor.
Its second installment now bears the responsibility of equaling the success of the first, although it has in its favor that it will finally take us into the Dance of the Dragons, the war between Blacks and Greens on the back of their dragons for the Iron Throne . The first will fight for Rhanerya Targaryen (Emma D’Arcy), legitimate heir, while the seconds will claim the crown to Aegon II (Tom Glynn-Carney).

‘The House of the Dragon’, 2T: duration of the episodes
Although, at the moment, Max has not revealed relevant details about the new chapters that will be released starting June 17 in Spain, he has announced the duration of the first two. As stated on the portal Winter Is Coming, the first of them, titled One son for another, will last approximately one hour and four minutes; that is, 64 minutes.
This is a similar length to the episodes of the first season (in this one, the episodes lasted between 54 and 67 minutes), so it is not surprising. However, the second, which will premiere on June 24, will be the longest of the prequel, reaching an hour and 12 minutes in length; that is, 72 minutes in total.
It is expected that, in these first two episodes, the second season will address the consequences of the end of the first installment, marked by the death of Lucerys, the perfect excuse for Daemon (Matt Smith) seek revenge on the Greens. This new installment will have 8 chapters that will be released weekly until August 5.
