The Russian Army’s air defense forces intercepted and destroyed five unmanned aircraft of Ukrainian origin over the Bryansk region late this Saturday, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported.

“At approximately 23:00 Moscow time, an attempt by the kyiv regime to carry out a terrorist attack using an aircraft-type UAV against targets on the territory of the Russian Federation has been stopped,” Russian authorities said in a statement. a first message published on his official Telegram account.

Specifically, “air defense systems that were in service on the territory of the Bryansk region” destroyed three Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles.

Moments later, in a second message, Defense reported another attempted attack by the Ukrainian Army launched in the same region. On this occasion, “service air defense systems have destroyed two Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles.”

These new attacks come after the Russian Armed Forces intercepted and destroyed up to 68 Ukrainian drones over the regions of Krasnodar and Crimea during the early hours of Saturday, as also reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
