Girl complained about “monsters” in her room: There were more than 50 thousand bees on the wall

A family from North Carolina, United States, discovered more than 50 thousand bees living inside the walls from his house.

It all started when one of the little daughters of Ashley Massis Classbegan to complain about the “monsters” that were in his room. Although they initially thought that it was an effect that the movie “Monsters Inc” could have had on her, which they had seen a few weeks before, the girl’s fear did not stop.

Weeks later, Massis and her husband noticed some bees entering their attic, and since their house was more than 100 years old, they decided to call a pest control company.

It was then when a beekeeper came to the house with a thermal camera with which he discovered a huge hive hidden behind the wall of his daughter’s room.

“At first I thought it was a body. The man didn’t have his bee gear on yet, but he took a hammer and hit the wall. The bees came out like in a horror movie and honey was dripping from the wall. But it looked like blood because it was very, very dark, running down my daughter’s pink walls. “It seemed really strange,” the woman said.

Although the beekeeper was able to get 40,000 beesthere is still a lot of work to be done, which will cost at least 18 million Chilean pesos.

“We’re going to have to re-seal everything, plug up the little dime-sized hole they got in. And then we have to re-insulate the whole wall. Honey dripped all over these electrical wires, so We have to redo that,” the woman concluded.
