CABRISAS CONCLUDED ACTIVITIES IN THE RUSSIAN CITY OF SAINT PETERSBURG
The vice prime minister of Cuba, Ricardo Cabrisas Ruiz, in compliance with an invitation from the Governor of Saint Petersburg, before leaving this region, visited the fortress of San Pedro and San Pablo, one of the symbols of this city, which gave origin to its emergence in the 18th century. IRAN APPROVES SIX CANDIDATES FOR PRESIDENTIAL RUN
Iran announced the names of six qualified candidates for the country’s presidential election, scheduled for June 28. After the announcement, the final candidates can begin their electoral campaign, which will conclude on June 27. Initially, 80 candidates registered from May 30 to June 3, to compete for the country’s highest executive position. The fourteenth presidential election, originally scheduled for 2025, was brought forward due to the unexpected death of President Raisi, due to the crash of the helicopter in which he was traveling, on May 19, in the northwestern province of East Azerbaijan. CUBAN DOCTORS IN HAITI PERFORMED, IN MAY, MORE THAN 4,000 SURGERIES
In May, the Cuban Medical Brigade in Haiti performed more than 4,700 surgical interventions free of charge, a service that contributes to improving the quality of life of the people of this Caribbean nation.
