A 22-year-old Chilean girl living in Austria was brutally murdered on Tuesday night.
The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday in the Floridsdorf district of Vienna. According to the police in that country, the young Chilean woman was attacked with an ax by a Romanian man, with whom she shared an apartment.
The victim, whom the Chilean community in that country identified as Carla S., asked two co-workers for help through telephone messages, alerted by the behavior of the 26-year-old Romanian. “The woman was afraid of her roommate,” Austrian police reported, adding that the man “was trying to enter the woman’s room.”
The subject, for unknown reasons, attacked the Chilean woman with the gun to her head. Co-workers arrived at the apartment and reported it to the police. In that place, the attacker was with the naked torso and brandishing the ax with which he committed the crime.
In his actions, the subject also attacked the sale of an apartment and then against a car. Two police officers who were in the area responded to the emergency. Upon arrival, local media indicate, the subject ran towards them and attacked the police vehicle. At that moment, the police They shot the subject, killing him at the scene. An officer also suffered injuries from a fall.
The Vienna criminal police are investigating the incident. Likewise, reports from that country show that the subject had previously presented “serious psychological problems.”
