The death of a 77-year-old man caused outrage in the municipality of SaintsBrazil. César Fine Torresi He lost his life after receiving a “flying kick” while walking with his 11-year-old grandson.
The victim, described by his family as a “hard-working” person and an “excellent father and grandfather,” had picked up the boy from school and, taking him by the hand, they crossed a street in the Aparecida neighborhood, north of Sao Paulo.

According to the Brazilian portal G1, the aggressor, identified as Tiago Gomes de Souza39 years old, approached César on foot and without saying a word kicked him in the chest.
The older adult fell to the floor unconscious in front of his grandson. While the little boy was crying, the ambulance arrived and although he was quickly transferred to a nearby health center, the man died after presenting three cardiac arrests.

In dialogue with G1, Caesar’s son, Bruno Fine Torresistated that he could not understand the reason for Gomes de Souza’s aggressive attitude. “How can a person have such an attitude towards a white-haired old man and a child next to him?”lament.
“This weekend my dad came to visit us and he was going to the mall to walk with my son hand in hand. His routine was to visit his three [hijos] in each city, pick up their grandchildren and walk with all of them,” he added.
The victim’s daughter-in-law, who preferred not to be identified, said her family is shocked. “We are trying to understand what led this guy to commit such a cruel act.“.
Initially the murderer fled, but managed to be captured by the police. The case will be treated by the Brazilian justice system as “bodily injury followed by death.”
