A call from a co-worker who was passing through the area alerted Fabricio Fernández’s relatives that he had been involved in a road accident at the intersection of Urquiza Street and Lateral Norte de Circunvalación, in Capital. From that moment on everything is anguish for his loved ones, since the young 20-year-old motorcyclist remains in the Intensive Care Unit of the Mayo Sanatorium.

According to the testimony of his brother Facundo to this medium, Fabricio had left around 1:30 p.m. from his work, located in the vicinity of Urquiza and Arenales, from there he took Urquiza with the intention of accessing Circunvalación Avenue to the east and arriving to his home in Santa Lucia. But on the North Side of the Beltway the misfortune occurred.

Facundo maintains that the Toyota Hilux truck crossed Urquiza and caused Fabricio to hit the passenger door squarely. At that moment, the motorcyclist fell violently to the pavement and suffered a severe blow to the front of his head, leaving him “unconscious.” For his part, police sources indicated that the boy, who was riding a Motomel XMM 250cc, was hospitalized with a serious TBI and multiple trauma.

Fabricio’s brother not only asks for prayer chains for his recovery but also for information about the incident, assuring that the motorcyclist was wearing a helmet and that in the area there is a “Stop” sign that the truck driver would not have respected.

Currently, due to his delicate condition, he remains in Intensive Care under an induced coma. His family prays that Fabricio can recover and be able to tell what happened that Friday when he finished his work day.
