Strengthen the University Museum of Contemporary Art (MUAC) as a recurring public venue, to which visitors return again and again because it not only exhibits work, but also provokes encounters and stimulates imagination and social action, is one of the objectives of Tatiana Cuevas as the new person in charge of the university space and head of the Directorate of Visual Arts of the UNAM.

“The function of the museum in terms of exhibition is beginning to be dislodged, to also have an active role in the discussion and from that discussion perhaps new exhibition models or new exhibition proposals can be generated.”
