Sorolla at the Amatller Art Center

The exhibition is located at the Amatller Art Centre on Passeig de Gràcia in Barcelona Sorolla. A new dimensionwhich due to the success of visitors, has been extended until September 15.

It is an immersive, exhibition and interactive experience commemorating the Sorolla centenary that took place last year, consisting of a different way of bringing art to the public.

The painter’s original works are there, but with a predominance of the audiovisual part, with the purpose of reaching more people, who, if they later feel sufficiently interested, will seek to see the original painting, if they have not already seen it. .

And so it is in this case that Sorolla’s painting is used to create another artistic work inspired by it. The result is the exhibition itself, which has the function of making this artist better known and at the same time interpreting him with a new audiovisual language that is usually popular, especially now, with the younger generations.

This exhibition, therefore, represents a tribute to the Valencian artist through new generation exhibition technologies. Thus, the exhibition is based on a didactic and interactive museography with 360º immersive projections, virtual reality, digital installations, set designs and other technological resources.
