Iberia will participate in this edition of the Madrid Book Fair with its ‘Talento a Bordo’ space, a space dedicated to Ibero-American authors located in the central area of ​​the Paseo de Coches. Between June 10 and 16, a cultural program will be offered with special attention to Ibero-American literature. In addition, it will also have an exhibition and book sales area with the presence of several publishing labels. The objective of ‘Talent on board’ is to make publishing projects visible and promote Ibero-American literature. This action is part of Iberia’s ‘Talent on board’ project, with which the company aims to support Spanish and Spanish talent in different disciplines. On May 29, on the eve of the Madrid Book Fair, the round table ‘The Fair takes off with Iberia’ will take place. Connecting talent’ at Espacio Iberia, located at Gran Vía, 48. Giselle Etcheverry, curator of literary and thought projects, will participate; the editor Juan Casamayor; the director of the Centroamérica Cuenta Festival, Claudia Neira; and the author and founder of the La Mistral bookstore, Andrea Stefanoni. The moderation will be carried out by Eva Orúe, director of the Madrid Book Fair. The conversation at this meeting will focus on the exercise carried out by cultural managers, editors, booksellers and writers to create new realities and transcend physical borders and established limits. Eight Spanish publishers specializing in Latin American literature that belong to the LAT association will be present in the Talent on Board space of the Book Fair; the publishing house specialized in football and cinema Panenka and Caballito de Acero and Provinciano, two Latin American labels (Colombia and Chile, respectively) also dedicated to sports.
