Seafood paella, shrimp and squid risotto, al pastor tacos, mixed viche, teriyaki chicken, white sangria and classic panettone are part of the more than 50 recipes contained in the digital book Your Kitchen Your Rulespresented by Carlos Villacís.

These are recipes compiled from the virtual cooking courses taught by Villacís in recent years on his social networks and digital platforms.

There are a variety of recipes from different types of cuisine, explained in a simple way by Villacís, an Ecuadorian chef by profession and university professor of careers such as gastronomy. In addition, and as a gift, the author indicates, there are video courses of the recipes, so the user can review them whenever they have any questions.

“Many cooking content creators keep their secrets to themselves and that is a problem, because in the end you try to do it at home and it doesn’t work out. For this reason, for many years I have dedicated myself to giving recipes just as I make them at home, just as I eat them,” explains Villacís.

Her love for cooking was born in her childhood, as she saw the traditions of her grandmothers and aunts, as well as the sharing of after-dinner meals. She says they are valuable memories that are always present.

Specialized in haute cuisine and restaurant business, in Argentina, Villacís also teaches the new generations and the public that follows him everything he has learned and his experience accumulated over these years in the gastronomic and business world. Born in Quito and raised in Portoviejo, Manabí, he also maintains the heritages, traditions and fusions of both regions.

“I think it is important that we be extremely faithful to this whole concept of teaching well, of teaching the recipe as it is made, because otherwise the result is not correct,” explains Villacís on his website: chefcarlosvillacis.com where his book is promoted and you can also buy it.

Your Kitchen Your Rules It currently costs $17 and includes free videos of 13 courses taught by Villacís.

He book It is divided into 9 chapters. It starts with seafood and continues with Italian cuisine, Mexican cuisine, Peruvian cuisine, Manabi cuisine, oriental cuisine, American cuisine, Christmas cuisine and cuisine for events.
