The National Army of Colombia, within the framework of the International Book Fair in Bogotá, launched in the Great Hall the book ‘Indiscriminate attacks and disproportionate attacks by the FARC-EP’ volume 1, prepared by professionals from regional historical memory groups .

In this work, researchers show in detail illegal military practices, highlighting their systematic nature and their devastating impacts on Colombian society. It analyzes how the FARC-EP carried out indiscriminate and disproportionate attacks in Colombia, which affected both the civilian population and the Military Forces.

It is worth mentioning that the main objective of this book is to raise awareness about these violations and promote an informed debate to adequately address these crimes. It is essential to recognize and provide justice and reparation to all victims of the conflict, including military victims, as part of the peace and reconciliation process in Colombia.

The book is broken down by region: Caribbean, Andean, Pacific, Orinoquía and Amazonia. Through a detailed analysis in each of these regions, it is evident how the extinct FARC perpetrated attacks that left a trail of suffering and destruction in their wake.

In the conversation, the authors stated that there will be an upcoming publication in which other spaces will be analyzed to provide a complete and detailed vision of the situation throughout Colombian territory.
