The provincial government highlighted the participation of Tierra del Fuego in the “International Book Fair” that takes place in Buenos Aires, with its own stand where it promotes titles from the Cultural Editorial and independent writers.

This is the 48th edition of “one of the most important Spanish-speaking publishing meetings, where different book presentations, cultural exhibitions and talks by renowned writers will take place until May 13,” the Fuegian Editorial stated.

After highlighting the “effort made by the province to be present in this new edition, despite the context of economic crisis in which we are living,” the coordinator of the Cultural Editor, Florencia Lobo, argued that “that is why we are very happy to be present, when there are provinces that could not come and those absences are noticeable in the pavilions of the Fair.”

“That is why we have a stand for the sale and exhibition of copies and we will not present writers,” said the official, who commented that “on May 6, at 6:30 p.m., in the Horacio González room which is in the ocher pavilion, we will celebrate on Tierra del Fuego Day, with the presentation of Nini Bernardello’s art catalog ”Dibujando en el Horizonte’, which is the last title published by Editora Cultural.”

It should be noted that the province marks its presence at stand 3141 of the ocher pavilion and presents, for exhibition and sale, 70 titles, 45 from the Editora Cultural Tierra del Fuego and the rest published by other publishers.

Literature, poetry, stories, photography, history are some of the themes that the Fuegian specimens cover and that visitors consult.
