Nora Luna presents her second book “Battles, exiles and Gardens of the depths”. On Wednesday the 8th at 5:30 p.m., the author from Córdoba presents her second book titled: “Battles, exiles and gardens of the Fund”, from the Babel publishing house. The appointment is at the Casa de Pepino Cultural Center (Fructuoso Rivera and Belgrano).

This second work is self-referential poetry. The writer considers poetry as the way to retain those moments or memories from the past that allow us to get closer to the gaze of another, the feelings that pass through our body, in a universal way.

Nora Luna understands poetry as a form of commitment, the book began to take shape last year, months before the war against Palestine. It is impossible not to see those images of unprotected girls and boys, elderly people, women, men in a situation of alert and constant suffering.

This led the author to tell her family history, the exiles of her grandparents; “My paternal grandmother was German and my maternal grandfather was from Jujuy. “They had a different education, they suffered uprooting and loneliness.”

“I take a tour of those who disappeared in the last civil-military dictatorship of 1976 in our country. My parents, lawyers by profession, had to travel to Salta to sell regional items because of their ideas. “In the poems those who did not return appear and how we go through those duels as a family.”

Finally, Luna describes the gardens at the back of her house, where she plants her dreams as a family feeling, beating and remembering.

The book will be on sale at a promotional price. Entrance is free and open.
