The Community Communication Area presented its latest book

The Community Communication Area of ​​the Faculty of Education Sciences presented the book “Making community communication from the University” coordinated by Patricia Fasano, Lucrecia Pérez Campos, Gretel Schneider, Pilar Espósito, Patricia Fontelles, Marianela Morzán, Mara Muscia, Gretel Ramírez and Irene Roquel and edited by the Editorial of the National University of Entre Ríos (EDUNER). The presentation occurred on Wednesday, May 22 at the Rodolfo Walsh Auditorium of the FCEDU.

The opening was led by the dean of the FCEDU Aixa Boeykens and the director of the EDUNER Gustavo Martínez. In addition to the authors, the teacher and journalist Pablo Russo participated as a guest.

The activity was broadcast on YouTube and is available on the channel of the Faculty of Education Sciences.

About the work

The book presents some of the results of a research on communication practices carried out within the framework of the Community Communication Area between 2004 and 2017. In this sense, it provides a conceptual systematization of what, in the Latin American tradition, is called community communication. , alternative and popular, highlighting its potential for the emancipation of social actors in situations of social and political vulnerability. What characteristics do intervention processes in community communication from the university have? What are the institutional conditions of/for this type of actions (in political, academic, administrative and economic terms)? What notions of intervention are materialized in These experiences? are some of the questions addressed in this work.
