San Luis Libro inaugurated a literary corner in Fortuna

They seek not only to stimulate reading, but also to strengthen the connection with the schools in each locality. The publishing label organizes new presentations and institutional visits.

In Fortuna, in the ‘Mariano Moreno’ popular library, San Luis Libro inaugurated a literary corner. This space joins the one that recently opened in Villa Mercedes to strengthen cultural heritage.

In the town in the south of the province, the space located on Sarmiento and 12 de Octubre opened with an exhibition of the historic magazine ‘Hola’, which was born on Christmas 1971 and was founded by Calaresu, an Italian priest based in Bagual, who coordinated together to residents of surrounding towns this publication that carried messages of peace, unity and fraternity in the Dupuy department.

At first, the editions were prepared with a typewriter and were published every two months. Then, with the advancement of technology, they managed to incorporate graphic improvements. Currently, the magazine is published every semester and has 344 issues to date, which make it a valuable means of communication recognized as the ‘Newspaper of southern Puntano’.

During the event in Fortuna, the publishing label with more than 15 years of existence honored teacher Rosa Palma for her career and commitment to the town.
