Four book “influencers” from the province will participate in scheduled activities such as the reading clinic, “best-sellers” on social networks and reading habits in adolescence. The Fair begins this Thursday and concludes on June 16.
The first edition of the Book Fair presents a special focus for young people: the objective is to attract new generations to reading and literature. This event will be held in La Rural between this Thursday, June 6 and 16, with a general admission ticket from Friday to Sunday of $3,000, but, attention, members of the LA GACETA Club have a 50% discount (the ticket remains at $1,500). The youth billboard highlights the intervention of four “booklovers” or book influencers from the province of Tucumán: @mimundoentrepaginass, @booksbyaya, @reader.universe and @saxabooks.
On Friday the 7th at 2:30 p.m. “Reading consultation and talk about best-selling books on social networks” will begin in Bitácora Roca. It will be directed by the bookstagramer Milagros Gonzales by @mimundoentrepaginass and Agustina Rivadeneira by @bookbyaya. In a shared publication, both said: “We ask ourselves the following question: does hype affect how we approach books? We are going to debate what makes certain books more viral than others, and, obviously, we are going to recommend many books.”
The next activity for the booklovers is on Tuesday the 11th at 3 p.m., “Promote non-compulsory reading.” they will give it Micaela Avellaneda by @saxabooks and Rivadeneira. Both anticipated that they will talk about how to continue feeding their reading habit and make them talk to their friends, in addition to discussing what they consume in terms of series, movies and music.
On Friday the 14th at 2:30 p.m. the talk “Romance literature in adolescents” will begin, in which Agustina, Micaela, Milagros and Micaela by @reader.universe. In this space they will discuss topics from books such as “enemies to lovers”, “friends to lovers”, “stangers to lovers” (from “enemies to lovers”, “friends to lovers” and “strangers to lovers”). On their networks they commented: “Together we will ‘fangirl’ about our love for romances made of ink and unsurpassable statements. Because love novels are lived in the body and in the soul.”
In addition to these conversations, there will be other moments in which the youth audience will take over the scene. Malena Hehn, @malelovesbooks on Instagram, is a writer and “booktoker” who will appear on June 13 at 4 p.m. at the fair to present her youth novel “It was always you.” And on June 7, a while after the Reading Clinic, at 8:30 p.m., Sofia Platee (@sofi_plaate) will assume the responsibility of adding music to the atmosphere of the Fair.
