Composers, authors, music lovers and attendees of the Book Fair, FELVA 2024, will be able to enter the magical world of letters and melodies by attending the stand that the SAYCO Society of Authors and Composers has arranged to inform, educate and entertain about the reason for being of the Society, its origins, mission, creation and affiliation from today until next Sunday, June 9 in the Historic Center of Valledupar.
Rafael Manjarrez, President of SAYCO, together with Ricardo Gómez, Legal Director, will establish a dialogue with illustrious composers about the stories that frame the vallenato songs, those that have traveled the world while accompanying the feelings of women and men who listen to the melodies and evoke those letters loaded with sensations during the conversation ‘For music there are no borders, but there are rights.’
The directors of SAYCO will also present the protection of copyright carried out by the Society while promoting the national heritage and well-being of the members, the advantages and benefits of being participants in a Society that defends the author and supports their works in Colombia and the world during the conversation that will take place at the Valledupar House of Culture tomorrow, Friday starting at 10:30 am
The Book Fair, FELVA 2024, will feature the participation of renowned writers, poets, journalists and special guests, including Santiago Gamboa, Eva Muñoz, Flavia Dos Santos, Julio Oñate Martínez, María Teresa Egurrola, Alfonso Sánchez Baute, Sergio Fajardo , Linda Palma, Humberto de la Calle, María Jimena Duzán and Juan David Correa, Minister of Culture who will also inaugurate the Fair.
