Workshops, events for children, presentations of works and talks will be held on the second day of the Quito International Book Fair.
The Quito International Book Fair has a full agenda of activities for this June 9, scheduled from 10:00 to 20:00. This cultural meeting takes place at the Bicentennial Metropolitan Convention Center and Admission is free.
Two Ecuadorian writers will hold specific workshops with their readers. One is Santiago Paez, who will lead a mini-workshop (10:00, room 3). There he will reveal how he conceived ‘The Puma Girls’, his most recent novel.

Another teacher will be Juan Carlos Morales, who will lead three literary creation workshops for young people, starting at 3:30 p.m.
Besides, the Metropolitan Library Network has programmed various spaces and times of literary activities for children.
Colombia It is the guest country of this Fair, so there will be several activities at its stand. Among them, the poet Marco Lucchesi will present his work ‘Clio’ and read fragments of the book (2:00 p.m.). Furthermore, the poets María Luz Albuja, Sandra de la Torre, Rocío Soria and Janeth Toledo will participate in the Recital Women in the Ear (15:30).
The writers Pablo Escandon and Carlos Vasconez They will chat with Damián de la Torre about memory as a kaleidoscope of literature (6:30 p.m., room 1). Both have recently published novels based on real events.
While the authors Jorge Gómez, Alexander Avila, Pablo Flores and Martín Torres will address an interesting topic: what about books and authors when the texts have been published (18:30, room 1).
