These are some book stories The devil’s fingers that Carlos Fidalgo, the author of the novel of stories about the origins of rock and roll, and the guitarist Gio Yáñez will perform this Thursday, June 13 at 8:30 p.m. on the stage of the La Térmica Cultura auditorium in Ponferrada, in a filandón- rock open to the public and with free entry that is part of the Paisajes 24 program; an event organized by the Energy City Foundation and the Chair of Sustainable Territories and Local Development of the UNED. Carlos Fidalgo and Gio Yáñez, the Devil’s Band, will have the guest voice of the writer Espido Freire in a show that mixes stories with music and images to tell a different story about the influence of God and the devil in the origins of the sound that changed the world.

In this way, La Térmica Cultural will premiere the filandón-rock that, starting this summer, will take La Banda del Diablo on tour in a dozen events already closed on stages throughout the province of León (from Villablino to Sabero, from Cacabelos to Fabero and Ponferrada) and other places such as the XIV Festival Rincones de Música y Palabra de Oria in Almería.

The winner of the Planeta Prize and the Azorín Prize, among other recognitions, Espido Freire, lends her voice to dramatize some of the female characters in Fidalgo’s book. Apart from her role as a writer, Espido Freire has already performed as an actress on stages such as the Spanish Theater in Madrid, the Celsius 232 Festival in Avilés with the adaptation of her story April in Istanbul. His most recent book is Better diverseintended for children and young people.
