“Imagine the future”, is the first book that intertwines human creativity with the innovative power of technology. Artificial Intelligence (AI).
In its pages a collection of 50 images generated with AI of computers Galaxy Book4born from the thoughts and dreams of real human beings, who left their written stories on the social networks of Samsung Chile in the year 2024.
“This book is a tribute to Chileans’ optimistic vision of tomorrow. “We wanted to create it with people and deliver it to the community because at Samsung we firmly believe that artificial intelligence is for everyone and should be inclusive technology, designed to improve people’s lives, break down barriers and encourage creativity,” explained Cristián Madariaga, Ecosystem Manager of Samsung Chile.
“For us, AI must have a positive impact on inclusion and sustainability, creating a world where everyone has access to the benefits of advanced technology with security and privacy. This is why we invited Chileans to participate by sending their stories, and the truth is we were surprised, because we received hundreds of messages with optimistic visions about the application of AI in the future, which is how we see things at Samsung,” added the executive.
How was the book “Imagine the Future” made?
After collecting hundreds of messages from Chileans through a call on social networks, Samsung Chile used the power of artificial intelligence of its Galaxy Book4 computer to analyze people’s stories and convert them with AI into futuristic illustrations that visually expose the imagination of what was written by those who participated.
For his part, the manager of Samsung Chile Ecosystem, Cristian Madariaga, indicated that “this is a collaboration and an example of what AI can create together with human beings. We are very satisfied with this work that reflects the intention and future vision of Samsung technology in our homes. It is a special experience and we hope to continue creating in the future.”
The book will be available to the public in its physical version at the Bellavista Library (85 Constitución Street, Bellavista neighborhood) of the Municipality of Providencia, and in its online version extended on the web, this thanks to the coloring between Samsung Chile and the Municipality of Providencia through its Public Library System.
