Among fantastic heroes and characters from universal literature, with books and recreational activities, the first day of the Expo Biblio Pop took place yesterday at the Conte Grand Cultural Center. Although it was quite a challenge to face the low temperatures in the morning and during the nap, children and young people shared an entertaining and enjoyable experience in the comfortable facilities of the complex and thus, they were able to appreciate a whole world of colors, shapes and attractive designs on the covers. of books of all kinds. From stories to novels, to comics and famous graphic novels of legendary characters such as Nippur de Lagash (by Robin Wood and Lucho Olivera) or La Guerra de Los Antartes, a classic created by Héctor Germán Oesterheld with drawings by León Napoo and Gustavo Trigo. But also, there were traditional comics from Superman and Spider-Man, to Japanese mangas that are, today, a favorite reading for young centennials. Well-known institutions such as La Escalera, Popular Sur de Rawson, Juana Azurduy, Rómulo Fernández, Franklin, Chirapozú, Moya Gil, Pablo Ramella, among 40 popular libraries in the province, participated. In addition, during the tour, there were chess tables to enjoy interesting games with friends, while in another sector there was a fanzine and poetry workshop, where the older ones spent good hours creating their own verses. Among the artistic interventions, Roberto Guevara offered a recital with his songs on allentiac, with guitar and percussion, and shared a pleasant moment with the children. In another aspect, a group of cosplayers were present representing characters from Harry Potter and The Lord of the Rings, to be in tune with the literary narrative and who were present at the stands, either in the form of the original book or in sculptures scale. The Biblio Pop Expo can be visited again today at the CCCG from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. With free entry.
