The Tierra del Fuego Cultural Publisher delivered books to 135 popular and school libraries in the province (Río Grande, Ushuaia and Tolhuin), within the framework of one of the most relevant actions carried out by the provincial Publisher.”
In addition, a talk was given about the three titles delivered, with the topics they cover and the possible ways to address them in the classrooms.
The head of the publishing house, Priscila Vallone, highlighted the fact and recalled that “every year the Tierra del Fuego Cultural Publishing House delivers the titles it prints to the public and school libraries throughout the province.”
“On this occasion, the first annual delivery was made, in which approximately 500 books of three new titles were awarded,” he noted, later specifying that the works delivered were “Dear friend,” by Marilín Jorquera and Susana Mazzocca; “Consentir Magazine”, by Diseño Alojar; and “Senu and Alma”, from the “Explore Worlds” workshop.
Vallone celebrated the call and expressed that “we are very happy with the librarians who approached the Ministry of Culture in Ushuaia and the Yaganes Cultural Center in Río Grande, where we were able to chat and talk about the titles that will later be worked on in educational establishments.”
The official highlighted that during the current administration, the Tierra del Fuego Cultural Publishing House “has published 145 titles, including print and digital editions, and several collaborative works, including the digital book ‘My Pago’ in conjunction with the Foreign Languages Coordination; ‘Senu y Alma’ in conjunction with the Explorar Mundos workshop; ‘Dibujando en el horizonte’, a catalogue of Niní Bernardello’s work with the Museo Fueguino de Arte, and some collaborations with the magazine ‘La lupa’.”
