The poet Diana Forte will present her book ‘Vulnerable’ » El Comarcal de La AlpujarraEl Comarcal de La Alpujarra

The Tasca Almáciga in Pampaneira will host the presentation of this work of “reflection open to all emotions”

The poet Diana Forte will be in charge of presenting her work ‘Vulnerable’ this coming Saturday. A book that reflects “the tireless search for one’s own voice in the world and, at the same time, is the passage of a path in the forest that penetrates the experience of the loss of a mother.”

The presentation event will take place at the Tienda y Tasca Almáciga in Pampaneira on June 29th from 7:30 pm with free admission. It will also be accompanied by music by David Muñoz and Art Marquiset.

Diana Forte is a self-made poet. Formed by life and determined to capture on paper what lives inside her, she presents her collection of poems ‘Vulnerable’.

This publication is “an open reflection on all the emotions that a person goes through in that vital search for authenticity in their personal transformation. ‘Vulnerable’ is also the open flesh, it is the deep crack of those who constantly seek to be and understand themselves. It is a walk through the existence of the dead and the vulnerability that makes the living persist. A vindication of the self that, immersed in pain, seeks to re-emerge from it and use it as a driving force. This book is the construction of a discovery revealed through poetry: one is strong because of that constant possibility of being hurt, of overcoming the cut and not becoming it. A song to the strength that is born from the most human pain, from the weakness so necessary to delve into the self. Vulnerable is the tireless search for one’s own voice in the world and, at the same time, it is the passage of a path in the forest that penetrates the experience of the loss of a mother.”
