Bershka reopens one of its largest stores in the country in Valencia. The space, which incorporates Bershka’s new image, is located at number 32 Colón Street and has 1,385 square meters of sales distributed over two floors. The Inditex group chain is immersed in a plan to remodel and expand its stores, within a broader plan to modernize its corporate identity launched in April 2023 with the presentation of a new logo and its renewed corporate identity.

The Bershka store on Colón Street combines physical and online shopping formats with new technologies. For the design of the new store, the chain has collaborated with the Valencian creative studio Culdesac.

New concepts are also introduced in the space.. The entrance to the store will be used as a launch capsule to present new collections and a new exclusive space has been set up for footwear where a large part of the collection is displayed. In addition, it has services such as self-checkout boxes and fitting rooms with an Rfid system, which detect the number of garments and are interactive. As an exclusive element of the reopening of Valencia, Bershka presents an ephemeral immersive art installation.

Bershka has also renovated locations such as its location in the Larios Centro shopping center in Malaga and its 1,340 square meter point of sale located on Madero Street, in the historic center of Mexico City.

Inditex has increased the total area of ​​its 5,692 stores around the world by 1.9%, up to 4.56 million square meters, despite having closed the year with 123 net store closures. The key, the increase in the average surface area, from 769.3 square meters in 2022 to 800.63 square meters in 2023, and also the increase in sales per square meter, from 7,281 euros in 2022 to 7,888 euros per meter in 2023 .

Bershka has 856 stores globally, including its own establishments and franchises., with presence in more than 220 countries through its ecommerce. In the last financial year, the company increased its net sales by 10%, up to 2,621 million euros.

In April 2023, a year ago, for the first time in its more than two decades of history, its corporate identity and its logo changed to be written with geometric sans-serif typography, like that of the Inditex group itself, renewed in 2022, and that of Pull&Bear. The last chain of the group to rebrand its logo was Massimo Dutti a month ago.
