Ikea, a Swedish multinational furniture and home decoration company, announced the opening of its second store in Colombia, consolidating its proposal in the Valle del Cauca market.
The store will be located in the city of Cali, in the Mallplaza Cali shopping center, It will have more than 15,000 square meters of surface, 21 furniture showrooms and a Swedish food restaurant.
The inauguration will take place on May 8 at 10:30 am

“This location is easily accessible for Cali residents, close to important streets, stations and bus stops that link various areas of the city, which will make it easier for 90% of the population to access the store in less than 60 minutes”the company reported.
And he added that during the inaugural event, Cali residents who make a purchase of any furniture and decoration product, regardless of the value, will be able to participate in the drawing for one of the 1,000 Ikea products, one of the 20 bonuses of $1,000,000 or a $10,000,000 bonus to exchange for brand products.

Ikea’s expansion plan in Colombia also includes Medellín. And although the exact date on which it will open its doors is not yet known, this is expected to happen in the second half of this year.
