The new glass-free solar panel that supports various forms of installation

Sunman, an innovative Chinese company, brings us a solar panel that, according to its report, can be installed with any method. As on roofs, fixed and removable, mechanical adhesive, with an aluminum base, removable, quick joining and even mobile.

This solar module, called SMH520J-12X12UW, is a great advance in the area of ​​solar energy and comes to give it a new boost now that it was lagging behind compared to other renewables.

How it is built and what are the characteristics of this photovoltaic panel

This revolutionary solar panel has a temperature coefficient of 0.34 / °C, has a white backsheet and a weight of 4.1 kg / m², or 11.1 kg per complete panel. It is monocrystalline technology, making it ideal to be mounted in areas where solar energy is deficient and comes in various powers up to 520 W. It is well known that this technology is characterized by being the most efficient of all.

Regarding the power it produces, it has an excellent power conversion efficiency of 19.2% at full solar irradiation. On the other hand, its open circuit voltage is variable, up to a maximum of 49.5 Vdc. Now, the short circuit current, for the 520 W panel, is an astonishing 13.56 Amps, on a day with strong sun.

It is made in a manufacturing process that is based on the use of fiberglass reinforced plastic (GRP). Material that, according to the data provided by the manufacturer, gives many options for assembly, both in existing and new shapes.

Everything is very good but… What about the warranty?

According to the manufacturer, this solar panel has a 12-year product and construction materials warranty. Regarding linear power, its warranty is 25 years. Likewise, it guarantees that the power output at the end of 25 years, will be at least 84.8% of the rated power output when it began service.
