At the end of last year, the coach PaxPower presented a Ford F-150 Raptor R, the most radical of the range, for a client in Saudi Arabia that had been converted into a single cab pickup, but now another company published on its networks its own mini-raptor R that is even shorter than the creation of the customizer.
This Ford F-150 was reconditioned by the dealer Mcallen Motorcars from Texas, United States. Although the dealer did not detail the construction process of the pickup and judging by the final size from bumper to bumper, it surely took them a lot of time and work.
Without modifying the entire first half of the pickup, that is, from the bumper to the first row, the dealer removed the two rear doors and shortened the wheelbase at what appears to be at least a meter (about 40 inches), achieving a sedan-like length. The cargo box, meanwhile, appears identical in size to a standard F-150 Raptor R.
A key difference between this mini-raptor R and the single-cab model developed by PaxPower is that the box was lengthened in front of the rear wheelsgiving the pickup slightly less strange proportions in this regard.
The images shared by the dealer on its Instagram reveal that this reduced wheelbase mini-raptor R It’s still a work in progress.. It is not clear if Mcallen Motorcars is planning any improvements to the engine of this mini-raptor R pickup, but in any case none is necessary: as is known, it has the 5.2-liter supercharged V8 taken from the Mustang Shelby GT500 that delivers some 700 horsepower and 868 Nm (640 lb-ft) of torque.
