Bytemaster launches a solution with artificial intelligence to generate customs dossiers

The technology company Bytemaster has presented a new solution that allows the automatic generation of customs dossiers based on artificial intelligence. The solution has been tested for a year in one of the technology company’s clients and has now been officially launched and will begin to form part of Bytemaster’s solutions portfolio. It is a product initially designed and developed for freight forwarders and customs agents, although its functionalities would also allow it to be used in other logistics business areas, such as traffic operations, warehouse operations or administration and finance departments.

The information generated will only be visible to the freight forwarder and will reach Customs through the Bytemaster ERP.

The software company Innocv Solutions has also participated in the development of the tool. As confirmed by Bytemaster’s Director of Operations, Andreu Camps, the connectivity of the solution allows you to read and scan any type of document, from invoices to CMR. This scan will generate a report that is integrated into Bytemaster’s resource planning system (ERP) with a series of data that only the freight forwarder client will be able to read, “unless he chooses to share it,” explains Camps. The information in the form of a dossier will be generated automatically and will reach Customs through the technology company’s ERP.

“This tool will allow massive customs clearance throughout Spain,” says the Director of Operations. The project allows you to convert and associate multiple documents in a dossier thanks to OCR technology and artificial intelligence. Hence, according to Camps, the same technology can be extended to other areas to increase productivity throughout the chain. Although it has been necessary to deploy another series of automation functionalities within Bytemaster for the solution to work, the integration with the company’s ERP will be carried out in an “agile and secure” way, the technology company maintains.

All of this seeks to avoid manual and repetitive data entry, especially when the sending of customs documentation is especially extensive, as well as increase productivity. “This union of technologies allows not only to streamline the organization of documentation and reduce data entry time by up to 75%, but also considerably eliminates human errors associated with it,” Bytemaster stated during the presentation. product official at its headquarters in Mataró (Barcelona).
