EFPA Spain has reached a collaboration agreement with Acacia Investment SGIIC, an entity with more than 25 years of history taking care of assets through co-investment and independence. Through it, the two entities commit to working together to disseminate initiatives that promote financial culture among investors, highlighting the importance of quality financial advice. They will also collaborate to provide more adequate and accessible information on financial vehicles to the investment community, with the aim of democratizing knowledge about multi-asset and alternative investment strategies.

EFPA Spain and Acacia Inversión will collaborate jointly in the organization of conferences, workshops and seminars valid for EFPA recertifications: European Investment Assistant (EIA), European Investment Practitioner (EIP), European Financial Advisor (EFA), European Financial Planner (EFP) and the EFPA ESG Advisor Certificationfully adapted to the requirements imposed by ESMA and the CNMV, based on the MiFID II community directive.

Acacia Inversión will actively support the continuous training process of EFPA Spain, facilitating the renewal of the qualification and professional certifications of financial advisors, in addition to participating in other initiatives promoted by the association.

In return, EFPA Spain undertakes to collaborate closely with Acacia Inversión in the communication and dissemination of activities that promote the understanding of the latest developments in portfolio management and contracting of financial instruments. This collaboration will further strengthen the relationship between both entities and their shared commitment to excellence in financial advice.

With this agreement, EFPA Spain expands its network of more than 70 collaborating entities, which include the main national and international banking and fund management institutions. For Santiago Satrústegui, president of EFPA Spain, “At EFPA Spain we have always recognized the importance of establishing strategic collaborations with entities such as Acacia Inversión. At a time of great uncertainty in the markets, the need to have financial advice professionals who can guide clients and provide quality service in any situation stands out. In this sense, this is an important step to continue promoting joint projects that strengthen the financial education of investors and underline their relevance in our society.”

For its part, for Álvaro Vitorero, director and president of the Investment Committee of Acacia Inversión, explains: “This agreement with EFPA arises naturally, in recognition of the very important activity that EFPA carries out in the sector and a sign of our commitment to training, also serving as a vindication of our position in the Spanish independent management industry. At Acacia Inversión we manage with our own approach, we have been doing things that others do not do for a long time. We believe that the time has come for those who until now were not related to our way of understanding investment to have the opportunity to appreciate it. EFPA will allow us to have a privileged platform to be able to take this very important step for us.”
