Bank J. Safra Sarasin Ltd has announced the appointment of Léna Jacquelin as co-manager of its JSS Sustainable Equity – Green Planet fund, its thematic equity strategy focused on seizing the opportunities of the green transition. This fund is also celebrating three years since the manager decided to reorient the strategy.

As they explain, the background iInvest in four megathemes with significant growth potential: ecosystem protection, resource efficiency, smart mobility and future energies. The investment strategy is firmly rooted in the search for long-term opportunities by developing a deep understanding of these mega themes and evaluating their value chains to identify the best positioned companies. By focusing on stock selection while integrating sustainability considerations, investors gain access to a diversified global portfolio of green solution providers that aim to have a positive outcome for the planet.

As a complement to this milestone, the bank has appointed Léna Jacquelin co-manager of the fund to work closely with Daniel Lurch, lead portfolio manager of the Fund. Léna Jacquelin is part of the Bank’s Thematic Equities team and brings a wealth of experience in investment management. She began her career at Natixis Asset Management Singapore for Asian and global technology funds. She then continued at La Financière de l’Echiquier in Paris, where she worked on robotics, artificial intelligence and space-focused funds. Léna’s experience as a purchasing analyst, backed by a master’s degree in engineering with a specialization in financial markets from ESILV Paris, positions her as a valuable asset to the Green Planet investment team.
