After the successful launch of the new E-3008 and 3008 Hybrid, Peugeot has opened orders for the Plug-In Hybrid 195 e-DCS7 version of its Fastback SUV. With the introduction of this particularly efficient propulsion system, which offers a range of 87 km in 100% electric mode, the new Peugeot 3008 now meets the needs of an even greater number of motorists.

The new 3008 exemplifies Peugeot’s purposeful, pragmatic and inclusive approach to electrification. Following its launch, Peugeot offers three electrification technologies that meet diverse customer needs, each offering class-leading performance.

Peugeot has already launched the new all-electric E-3008. Customer enthusiasm and business success during the first few months of sales is just the beginning. Today, Peugeot further expands the portfolio of its new Fastback SUV with the opening of orders for the 3008 Plug-In Hybrid. This 195 HP powertrain complements the current range, placing it between the 136 HP MHEV and the 210 HP all-electric version.

The 3008 Plug-in Hybrid 195 e-DCS7 combines a 92 kW (125 HP) electric motor with a 1.6-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged internal combustion engine with an output of 150 HP (110 kW), for combined 195 hp (143 kW). Its 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission is produced at the Metz plant in France.

This new 195 HP hybrid offering enables the new 3008 to offer top-notch performance, as well as a towing capacity of 1,550 kg, which is among the best in its segment. The 17.8 kWh battery of the 3008 Plug-in Hybrid allows it to achieve a 100% electric range of 87 km (WLTP combined cycle). It can be recharged in just 2 hours and 55 minutes with the 7.4 kW charger or in 9 hours and 5 minutes using a standard household socket.

The 3008 Plug-In Hybrid stands out for its efficiency, with certified fuel consumption of just 0.9 l/100 km and emissions from 19 g of CO2/km (WLTP combined cycle). Thanks to a 55-litre fuel tank, the 3008 Plug-In Hybrid also offers extended range for long journeys.

Assembled in the historic Sochaux factory, the new 3008 debuts Stellantis’ STLA Medium platform. This innovative multi-energy platform enables the optimal integration of this new high-performance plug-in hybrid powertrain (4-cylinder engine, large 21 kWh battery, 55-liter fuel tank) while preserving interior space and trunk space. The choice of a multi-energy platform allows, within the same factory and in a single product, to produce vehicles with propulsion systems that better meet current customer expectations with greater flexibility.
