Minute30.com .- An alleged animal abuse has been reported since Monday, June 3, when a dog on a balcony “drank the entire downpour.”
The incident is recorded in a residential unit in Rodeo Alto, where in an apartment on the fourth floor of Tower 2 a little dog “lives” on the balcony, regardless of whether there are high “summer” temperatures or heavy rains like those recorded in the last days.
Neighbors are worried about the dog
Residents of the sector see with pain how the little dog has to endure “the water blows” that they are experiencing these days in Medellín, without even having anywhere to shelter, since no roof can be seen on the balcony.
The neighbors also say that the inhabitants of the house where the dog lived on the “outside” side never give him access to the house, so they see him day and night, without protection.
Animal abuse or a “simple forgetfulness”
Since Colombian law stipulates that “we are innocent until proven guilty,” the owners are given the benefit of the doubt and we are led to believe that it is not intentional that they leave the dog out there in what would be a case of animal abuse, but rather that they “forgot” to bring in the pet.
