In a new update of the reservation systems we have observed that LATAM Airlines will add six additional flights to four routes to the United States for the 2024/25 winter season in the northern hemisphere.

According to the Cirium platform, subject to change, the links will be maintained throughout 2025. By January 2025, the Group will have increased the supply of available seat kilometers (ASK) by 17%, compared to the same period of 2024.

New routes and frequency increases

  • Sao Paulo/Guarulhos (GRU) to Orlando (MCO): Starting in November 2024, it will go from 5 weekly to daily flights, operated with Boeing 787-9, configured for 303 passengers (30 seats in business class, 57 in premium and 216 in economy).
  • Sao Paulo/Guarulhos (GRU) to Los Angeles (LAX): will increase from 3 to 4 flights per week. Operated with Boeing 787-9.
  • Santiago (SCL) to Orlando (MCO): The new route that will begin on June 16, 2024 with two weekly flights, was scheduled to operate throughout the year with a brief suspension between October and November. Previously, it was scheduled to operate until September 28, and then return in 2025.
  • Miami (MIA) to Punta Cana (PUJ): will go from one to two weekly flights starting in December 2024. The new frequency will be operated with Boeing 787-8 for 247 passengers, while the other will be operated with Boeing 787-9.

LATAM Airlines presence in the United States

Lima (LIM) is the main hub with flights to the United States in terms of LATAM frequencies with daily flights to Atlanta (ATL), New York (JFK) with ten flights per week, Los Angeles (LAX) with twelve flights per week and Miami (MIA) with up to eighteen per week.

Then it follows São Paulo/Guarulhos with services to Boston (BOS) with three flights per week, Los Angeles with four flights per week, New York and Orlando with daily flights, and Miami (MIA) with double daily flights.

Santiago (SCL) Chile is the third base with the most flights to the United States, with two flights a week to Orlando, Los Angeles and New York with daily flights and double daily flights to Miami.

Bogota (BOG) appears in fourth place with flights to Miami and Orlando, offering double daily flights and one daily flight respectively.

Finally, Quito (UIO), Strength (FOR) and Punta Cana They have 7, 3 and 2 weekly flights respectively.
