This revolutionary feature designed by Apple is specifically designed to mitigate the unpleasant effects that are normally associated with travel sickness and significantly improves the user’s sensation.

How Vehicle Motion Cues works
Although the use of mobile devices in the car is one of the main factors that can be associated with or cause motion sickness during travel, it is precisely a new iPhone and iPad feature which can help eliminate them.
In this case, Vehicle Motion Cues uses technology with animated dots on the device screen to represent the changes in movement vehicle. These move in response to the direction and speed of the car.
In this way, they help reduce that sensory conflict that is associated with dizziness. Since, for example, if the vehicle moves to the left, the points move to the right and vice versa. A kind of compensatory movement which helps align what the passenger sees and what they feel, reducing sensory dissonance.
For its operation, the technology of this new Apple function uses the iPhone and iPad sensors to detect when the person is in a moving vehicle and with that information proceeds to adjust the animated points on the screen to reflect changes in movement in the car.
A function that the user can configure to activate automatically when the mobile detects movement or activate and deactivate it through the Device Control Center.
Other innovations against motion sickness
A new Apple function that joins other solutions that had previously been launched on the market to address this same problem when traveling by car. One of the most popular inventions for this were also Citroën’s Seetroën glasses that the company launched several years ago.
