Málaga, June 10 (EFE).- Artificial intelligence (AI) will be the leading digital tool of the Digital Enterprise Show (DES) forum, which will bring together 17,000 managers starting this Tuesday in Malaga and will leave an impact of 34 million euros on the city.

With this event, which is being held for the third time in the capital of Malaga after passing through Madrid, the international projection of Malaga is promoted, which is establishing itself as a ‘hub’ of technological innovation in southern Europe, as reported this Monday by its organizers.

The eighth edition of DES, which runs until June 13, is marked by the synergies between exponential technologies, currently led by generative artificial intelligence, and the capabilities of human talent.

A total of 403 exhibiting firms will gather at the meeting, where they will show 718 innovations related to AI, data analytics, multicloud, cybersecurity, blockchain, hyperpersonalization, intelligent automation or the internet of things (IoT) based on simulations , immersive experiences or presentations.

Some of the brands that will be at the meeting are IBM, Oracle, Nvidia, Santander, T-Systems, Clear Channel, EBay, Phios, Jirada, NP Digital, The Cocktail, Vass, Westcon or Zoho.

In addition, a conference on digitalization will be held, attended by 592 international experts in more than 375 sessions distributed in nine auditoriums.

The event will examine the path that the entertainment sector is charting in digitalization as it is a precursor in the integration of exponential technologies, specifically generative AI and different models of virtuality.

Speakers include Zondwa Mandela, grandson of Nelson Mandela and president of the Mandela Legacy Foundation – a foundation that fights for equality and human rights; Wendy Hall, pioneer in the development of science for the creation of the World Wide Web and expert on the UK Government’s AI advisory committee, and Linghan Zhang, member of the UN high-level advisory body on artificial intelligence.

Also participating will be Mark Minevich, UN advisor and co-president of AI for the Planet Alliance; María Weaver, president of Warner Music Group: Neil Patel, classified by Forbes as one of the ten best marketing specialists, and Sara García Alonso, the first Spanish astronaut.EFE
