gEneral Motors continues to focus on offering versions that stand out from the rest of the range for having a more personalized and striking aesthetic. Following the RS saga like the Cruze and Onix, the Tracker RS was finally launched in our country, a variant that had been presented in Brazil last year and that arrives in our market as a limited edition of 100 units.
In this regard, Raúl Mier, Commercial Director of GM Argentina, stated: “This new version of Tracker reinforces the attitude of people who value a different lifestyle and seek to distinguish themselves with a vehicle with greater personality. The new:
It is a special series limited to 100 units and imported from Brazil, which stands out for its sportier aesthetics. It is based on the LTZ version, although it incorporates some elements of the Premier such as the panoramic roof.
At a design level, it stands out from the rest of the portfolio due to the glossy black grille frame and central air intake – with a honeycomb-type framework -, the headlights with LED projectors with darkened mask, the housing of the black mirrors as well as the brand emblems and the 17-inch alloy wheels with a “high gloss” black finish.
Inside doors it also has specific coatings, RS logos and red stitching. Of course, it maintains distinctive items of the Tracker such as native WiFi and OnStar, as well as a complete set of security features.
Comfort equipment:
MyLink3 multimedia system with 8” touch screen compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, on-board computer with 3.5” TFT display, 4G WiFi, electrically assisted steering, electric windows and mirrors, automatic climate control, cruise control and limiter, presence key, push-button start, reversing camera, progressive electric steering, multifunction steering wheel, rear parking sensors, panoramic sunroof, rain and twilight sensors and 17” alloy wheels.
Safety equipment:
The entire range has six airbags, traction control, stability control, brakes with ABS/EBD/BA, blind spot warning, forward collision warning, Isofix anchors and headrests and inertial seat belts in all 5 seats.
Mechanics:
Like the rest of the range, it is powered by the Ecotec 1.2 turbo gasoline engine, which delivers 132 HP at 5,500 rpm and 190 Nm of torque at 2,000 rpm, coupled to the automatic transmission with a 6-speed torque converter.
