Barcelona, June 16 (.).- The home decoration company Muy Mucho plans to increase its turnover by 3% and close with 29 million euros this year, in which it will open 24 stores around the world.

The company’s CEO, David Monné, explained to EFE that the group has two business legs: the one that sells the franchises and which expects to invoice 29 million this year, and the own stores, with which it will invoice 11 million.

Sales are highly concentrated in the period between October and December with all Christmas products and, so far this year, Muy Mucho has invoiced 1% more than last year.

Currently the chain has 171 establishments, of which only 18 are its own stores in Spain and France.

During 2024, 24 Muy Mucho stores will open around the world and all of them will be franchises, with the focus on Italy and Latin America, although there will also be openings in Spain and France and other markets.

Monné has assured that they are well established in Spain and France, where they have 70 and 40 stores, respectively, so now they want to take advantage of the opportunity to expand their presence in Italy, where they have 10 establishments.

It also aims to grow in Latin America, an area where “they like Mediterranean design at an affordable price”, so this brand fits very well there.

In the last quarter of the year, Muy Mucho will have a new line of products called Bienestar, which will be added to the existing ones of fragrances, cooking, stationery, order and decoration.

The company plans to open more of its own stores in 2025 and promote the digitalization and modernization of the company this year.

Muy Mucho, owned by the Quiles family, is present in more than 20 countries in Europe, Latin America and Arab countries, such as Dubai and Saudi Arabia. They also have a store in Miami, but right now growth in the North American market “is not a priority.”
