Among the many benefits aimed at students in Chile, there is one that can be earned by constantly going to class: the School Attendance Bonus. This contribution is delivered by IPS and through it you can receive $11 thousand a month.

Is granted automatically for two years to those who meet certain requirements, and has a period of 6 months to withdraw if paid in person, or 18 if collected through a bank transfer.

Find out with your RUT if you receive the School Assistance Bonus

If you want to know if someone in your household automatically received this subsidy, you can do so by contacting My ChileAtiende website.

There, you must write your RUT or that of the student and click “Consult”. If someone in your family is a beneficiary, it will appear immediately on the platform, along with the date and payment method.

What are the requirements to receive the School Assistance Bonus automatically?

They receive this contribution automatically those families that are part of Chile Security and Opportunities and, therefore, they are participating in Psychosocial Support (APS) or Socio-laboral Support (ASL).

Likewise, they must have in their composition some student who meet these requirements:

  • Be between 6 and 18 years of age as of March 31 of the respective year.
  • Are pursuing their basic or secondary education studies in an educational institution recognized by the state.
  • They have monthly school attendance equal to or greater than 85%.
