Nissan pays tribute to the legacy of its Z models with a car that we would love to see in Europe

Nissan wants to pay tribute to the legacy of its Z sports cars over the last 55 years and more specifically to a very special model, the Datsun 240Z of the S30 generation, that coupe that debuted back in 1969. To do this, it has used a car that we have been dreaming about in Europe, but that unfortunately we will not see in our lands due to the demanding emissions regulations. Of course, we are talking about the Nissan Z in its 2024 version.

Tribute to the Nissan 240Z

For the occasion, the Japanese manufacturer has taken a Z Performance and dressed it in an orange suit similar to that used by the aforementioned 240Z of the time. Thus, the exclusive New Sight Orange paint It is mixed with black stickers located both on the hood and on the sides, without forgetting about 19-inch retro-style wheels, wheel arches with extensions and a newly designed grill reminiscent of the one used by the S30. All this with a detail that will not go unnoticed: the Heritage Edition emblems on the side windows.

Nissan says that the Heritage Edition is available with both a six-speed manual transmission and a nine-speed automatic transmission, both paired with a 3.0-liter biturbo V6 engine that develops a total of 400 horsepower and is supported by a mechanical limited slip differential to send all the energy to the rear axle. It also has Nissan Performance brakes with red calipers and a chassis with a sportier setup than the standard Z. The successor to the 370 Z does not lack anything.
