Camino Minerals obtained exclusive rights to negotiate the acquisition of the Puquios Project, located in the Coquimbo Region, Chile. The company has until August 31, 2024 to complete due diligence and negotiate the documentation necessary for the acquisition.

Exclusivity agreement for the acquisition

Camino Minerals was able to obtain exclusivity to perform due diligence and negotiate the documentation required to acquire the Puquios copper project. This project is located 130 km northeast of La Serena, in the Coquimbo Region.

Deadline for negotiations

The company has until August 31, 2024 to carry out negotiations and complete the acquisition process. To ensure this exclusivity, Camino made a cash payment to the supplier, for an approximate amount of USD$72,955, as stipulated in the exclusivity agreement.

A project ready for construction

The Puquios Project, located in northern Chile, is ready for construction and is ready to take advantage of opportunities in the short-term copper market. This market is expected to experience significant growth in the coming years.

Complementing partnerships

The proposed acquisition by Camino Minerals will complement the company’s partnership with Nittetsu on the Los Chapitos copper project. This strategy seeks to strengthen Camino Minerals’ position in the copper industry and make the most of the potential of both projects.
