Committed to electromobility and environmental protection, Porsche Peru introduced the new Taycan in the country, a sports car that has significantly improved its performance compared to its predecessor, redefining the standards of the luxury car segment in electric mobility.
The new electric sports car boasts more power, more range and more speed, as well as faster charging. Porsche has also emphasised the design aspect and further differentiated the Turbo models. All versions of the Taycan feature even more extensive standard equipment and the latest generation of the Porsche Driver Experience, which stands for comprehensive digital display, versatile personalisation and intuitive operation.
‟The Taycan is a vehicle that, since its launch, has been giving Porsche great satisfaction. Currently, there are 12 units in circulation in the country in its different versions and there are five charging points of the brand open to the public for hybrid and electric vehicles with a type 2 input,” said Gonzalo Flechelle, Manager of Porsche Peru. ‟With a completely updated model, we continue this success story. We are confident that the new features incorporated by the Taycan will elevate the driving experience to new levels of performance and comfort.”
The media gathered at the Porsche Center Lima to see the new Taycan. Likewise, as part of the dynamic, attendees had the opportunity to personalize one of the exhibited models using the Porsche Car Configurator digital platform projected on an interactive screen.
Another of the Taycan’s outstanding features is its improved acceleration capabilities. This model can reach high speeds in very good time, guaranteeing an immediate and exciting response at the wheel. In addition, its charging periods have been significantly reduced, thanks to advanced technologies that allow the battery to be supplied with energy more quickly and efficiently, minimising interruptions and maximising time on the road.
The new Taycan
Faster, higher, further: Porsche has greatly updated the Taycan. The electric sports car has improved in all aspects compared to its predecessor: the new models have more power, more range and more speed, as well as a shorter and more robust charge.
The stability of the model is also something worth highlighting, without leaving out its innovations in design and engineering in general, which in short make the Taycan offer a smoother ride that is more adaptable to various driving conditions.
Currently, the Taycan is available in nine presentations: Taycan ($101,395), Taycan 4S ($120,495), Taycan Turbo ($175,595), Taycan Turbo S ($210,995), Taycan Turbo GT ($231,995), Taycan Turbo GT with Weissach package ($231,995) , Taycan 4 Cross Turismo ($113,095), Taycan 4S Cross Turismo ($127,195) and Taycan Turbo Cross Turismo ($178,295). All variants have numerous modifications and are now available through the local dealer. For each case, there are different engine options, with rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive versions.
It is important to note that the Taycan has placed more than 150,000 vehicles in countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany and China, and it is expected to have the same success in the Region.
