The Association of Automotive Dealers of the Argentine Republic (ACARA) released the vehicle registrations corresponding to the month of June. According to the reported numbers, the sixth month of the year was far from being ideal for the sector.
According to the survey carried out by the entity, 29,878 vehicles were registered in June, 25.5% less than in June 2023 (40,112) and 14.1% less than last May (34,797).
Thus, the cumulative total for the six months of the year is 182,399 units, 22.6% less than the 235,785 in the same period in 2023.
The “Top Ten”
The ACARA report includes the ranking of the ten most patented vehicles in June. A pickup for the countryside led the table with 2,276 units, which represents 8% of the total volume.
The podium is completed by two vehicles designed “for the city”, such as the Fiat Kronos and the Peugeot 208.
The peculiarity is that the “Top Ten” also includes two other pick-ups (in 4th and 6th place) that are generally used in the agricultural sector.
